Providence sits about 110 miles southeast of Northampton, and it is one of the more relaxed long runs we make. We head down I-91 to spring off toward the I-90 corridor and pick our way to I-95 south into Rhode Island, a little over two hours door to door. That keeps it a clean single-day move: the Smooth Movers crew loads in the Valley, eats lunch on the highway, and is unloading on Federal Hill or the East Side the same evening.
