We are a working moving company, not a call center, so the person you talk to actually knows our trucks, our calendar, and the buildings around the valley. What to tell us so the quote is accurate
The more we know, the tighter we can make your flat rate. Helpful details include:
- Where you are moving from and to — full addresses if you have them, or at least the neighborhoods
- Home size and roughly how many rooms of furniture
- The hard parts: stairs and which floor, a third-floor triple-decker walk-up, a tight downtown street, a piano or a gun safe, a full basement or attic to clear
- Parking at both ends — driveway, on-street with a permit, or a loading zone we should reserve
- Your ideal date and any flexibility, especially around the August/September and May college weeks
Where we work
We are based in Northampton and cover the Pioneer Valley and Western Mass — Amherst, Easthampton, Hadley, Holyoke, South Hadley, Greenfield, Springfield, Westfield, and the towns up and down I-91 and Route 9. For moves out of state we run our own crews and trucks long-haul, from Boston and Providence to New York, Burlington, Portland, and beyond.
